About The Event

Did you know 7 Lakes Alliance and the Bureau of Public Lands work together to steward the Kennebec Highlands? Meet 7 Lakes Alliance Land Steward, Jonathan Milne, at the Sanders trailhead parking area for a snowshoe/or hike on the Sanders Loop Trail. This will be moderate snowshoeing/hiking with some steep sections of ups and downs.  Please dress appropriately, bring water and snacks. Hiking poles will be very useful as will ice creepers for your boots if the snow is in poor condition for snowshoes.

Distance: 2.9-mile loop

Trailhead: A small parking area is located on the west side of Watson Pond Road, 1.3 miles south of Watson Pond Road’s junction with Route 27.
