About The Event
Come join the 7 Lakes Alliance for a plant paddle! Meet at the public boat launch on North Pond- North Shore Drive, Smithfield ME
Expect 2-3 hours of fun, free and educational paddling. Early detection provides the best hope of eradicating aquatic invasive species. Learn what to look for, and join us by kayak, canoe or snorkel! All ages are welcome.
What should you bring?
- Small, shallow draft boat like canoe or kayak. If you don't have a boat please contact us!
- snorkel and bathing suit (if you rather swim)
- Personal Floatation device
- water and sunscreen!
