About The Event
Spahr is an educator, photographer, forager, occasional private wild food chef, forest farmer and author who wrote the book "Edible and Medicinal Mushrooms of New England and Eastern Canada: A Photographic Guidebook to Finding and Using Key Species." During this hike, he will inform and enlighten about the wide variety of edible plants in the Pine Tree State's natural environs.
