Testing our new water sampler

Peekaboo! Using a new water sampler on East Pond today through the ice. It "grabs" water at specific depths so we can analyze them at Colby's lab for different water quality indicators (including phosphorus). This is the kind of sampling we do year-round on all 7 lakes! P.S. those little specs in the water? Zooplankton! Alive and well in mid February.
