David Spahr is the author of Edible and Medicinal Mushrooms of New England and Eastern Canada. We were privileged to have Dave at 7 Lakes Alliance to give a talk on mushroom collecting and preparing. He discussed the several different types of edible native mushrooms and how to prepare them. Then David led a group on The Mountain conservation property to test their newfound skills in mushroom collecting. We are hoping to host more workshops like these in the future.
