A group of 15 hikers led by Amy Soper, Laura Rose Day, and other staff hiked French Mt. to enjoy the full moon rise over the tree covered hills.
As the group ascended the mountain, discussion of the history of French Mountain and the unique ecology of the area buzzed through the woods. The sunset over the lakes reminded us of the value of conserving the lands and waters of the Belgrade Lakes region. We are grateful to our members and partners for helping us protect the valuable resources we all appreciate so much.
