Water Quality in the Belgrade Lakes: Dr. Danielle Wain

Now that the summer is underway and the loon chicks are born, do the open waters of the Belgrade lakes make you wonder about all the things going on under the surface? 7 Lakes Alliance will be hosting a talk by our Lake Science Director, Dr. Danielle Wain, on water quality in the Belgrade Lakes. Come learn about the current state of the lakes and some of the water quality challenges we will be facing in the future, such as warmer summers and harmful algae. Danielle will showcase data on each lake from the collaborative efforts of 7 Lakes Alliance, Colby College, and local volunteers. There will be plenty of time for questions!
