Sustainable Forestry Site Visit on Kelley

7 Lakes Alliance continues to examine the best ways to manage our conservation properties. Like many land trusts throughout Maine, 7 Lakes is conducting a sustainable harvest on one of our conservation lands. The main goal for the harvest is to support healthy forest regeneration and habitat. We aim to ensure the continued health and vitality not only of our conservation lands but the region as a whole. Our forest will continue to provide community and ecological benefits for many years to come. We invite you to a site visit of our harvest in Vienna at the Kelley property on June 26 at 9:00 a.m. There will be an overview of the harvest followed by a site tour.
