Join us on conservation lands to see the landscape at night on Saturday, December 18 at 6:00 p.m. Come experience the magic of a night hike on one of our largest preserves, Fogg Island. At 453 acres, this preserve has a host of incredible features including mature forests, vernal pools, and extensive wetlands. We’ll quietly work our way down to one of the larger wetlands and see what we can observe and hear. Anyone up for the compelling call of Stix varia (barred owl) as it silently hunts for dinner or examining what tracks are present on the access road? Hike is easy for beginners and there is nothing better than turning off the devices and getting outside in winter! RSVP here if you would like to join us! Raindate tbd.
