Maine Loon Presentation

What is more wonderful than the call of a loon across a Maine lake on a summer evening?  Want to know a bit more about these very special birds, as well as how we can help them thrive?  Please join us to learn about the Common Loon, including where and how the birds live in different seasons, their strengths, what enables them to thrive, what causes them problems, and what we can do to help.  Maine Master Naturalist Susan Cottle, a trained volunteer from the Look Out For Loons program, will share some slides and information about this iconic Maine bird that, for many of us, symbolizes what we love about Maine.
