Introduction to Nordic Skating and Ice Safety

Join guest speaker Richard Behr to learn the basic characteristics of wild ice, including different types of ice that you can encounter throughout New England. This will include discussions of the equipment required to assess wild ice as well as the behavior of wild ice. This presentation will provide attendees with a greater awareness and appreciation for the most common ice hazards while traveling on wild ice.
