Frog Days of Summer

Lizzy Gallagher, assistant lake scientist here at 7 Lakes Alliance, did her master’s degree research on amphibian development. She examined Cope’s Gray Treefrog tadpoles and how they were impacted by both the Brood X Cicada emergence, when millions of insects arrive simultaneously, and by warming pond environments. In this talk, Gallagher will focus on local frog species, their amazing adaptations and some of the threats they face.
